Dear Shonto Preparatory School Students and Families,
Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with laughter, rest, and special memories with family and friends. We are so excited to see our hallways and classrooms full of energy, curiosity, and smiles once again!
A new school year brings fresh beginnings-new goals to reach, friendships to make, and adventures in learning to enjoy. Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare warm, welcoming classrooms where every student feels safe, supported, and ready to shine.
This year, we’ll continue building a strong partnership between school and home. We believe that when families and schools work together, amazing things happen for our students. Whether you join us at school events, volunteer, or simply talk with your child about their day, your involvement makes such a positive difference. Please take the time to know your child’s teacher, and feel free to inquire about classroom/school/bus routines, procedures, and academic expectations.
Here are a few important dates to keep in mind for the month of August 2025.
I-Ready, Dibels, AIMSweb, Dine’ Language, WIDA Assessments. I-Ready Math and Reading (BOY) Beginning of the Year Assessments have been scheduled for this week.
PAC Meeting was re-scheduled to Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM, we are looking forward to seeing our K-8 parents.
First official Parent Information Night for the school year will be Thursday, August 28 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, K-8 Library. We will be discussing the 2025-2026 school year handbook.
