January 7-8, 2026
K-8: 4-6 pm
High School: 5-7 pm
Quarter 3 Sport (Basketball) starts Monday, January 5, 2026. We will meet in large gym at 3:30 PM.
Students athletes needs:
- Clearance with Front Office and Athletic department before practicing.
- Completed 2025-2026 AIA Physical Release Form before start of practice.
- K8 Athletic Handbook signed and turned in.
- All uniforms turned in from 2nd quarter sports.
Be prepared:
- Water bottle.
- Gym shoes.
- Appropriate clothing for basketball.
- Jacket and sweatpants to stay warm.

NAIC Wrestling Championships
> Moved to Baker, Tuesday, Dec 16, 2025 at 9am.
NAIC Soccer will be in Page Tuesday or Thursday.
> The bracket is still pending due to a couple of games today and tomorrow.
NAIC DII Volleyball, Wednesday Dec 17 , 2025, we will have 2 games here at Shonto Prep's large gym.
> 1st game: Rock Point vs Kaibeto @ 4pm
> 2nd game: Shonto vs the winner @ 5:30pm.
> DII Semifinals and Championships will be Shonto Prep's Large gym on Saturday, Dec 20, 2025. The game begins at 10:00 a.m.

What can you do to help?
To help prepare your child for the i-Ready Diagnostic, encourage them to:
- Get a good night’s sleep and eat a full breakfast the day of the assessment.
- Be on time to school!
- Try their best on each question and try not to rush.
- Try not to worry about questions they do not know—remind them that it is expected they will get only about half of the questions correct.
- Be respectful of other students who take longer to finish.
- Avoid Early Check-Out.

Come join us for a Family Fun Walk and Pumpkin Painting, starting at 4:15 PM at the High School Cafetorium. One pumpkin per family, refreshments and incentives for both parents and student. FCFS.

Smile! Picture day is set for a Monday, October 20, 2025. Remind your students to bring their biggest smiles. No purchase needed. Picture proofs will be sent to parents. Parents can review proofs and purchase your desired package at that time. See you all back on Monday!
